Anadolu Lezzetleri Eğin Dried Mulberries, sourced from wild mulberries in the fertile Kemaliye (formerly Eğin) district of Erzincan, possess a unique flavor profile shaped by the region’s distinct climate and soil. Produced by the local people, Eğin dried mulberries can be enjoyed as a snack or used in making "hoşaf" (traditional fruit compote). Due to the rugged terrain of the region, production is quite limited, and they are made exclusively from wild-grown mulberries. Local residents harvest the fruit in July, then spread the fresh mulberries out to dry in the sun, resulting in one of Anatolia's most unique delicacies.
