Description
Pastificio Giglio has a deep-rooted tradition in the food industry. The company's history began in 1930 with a restaurant at the gates of Treviso, where the current owners' grandparents started making egg tagliatelle for their customers. Following the success of their production, they decided to expand distribution to all restaurants in the region. In 1960, considering the favorable climatic conditions of the hilly area around Bassano and the organoleptic properties of the water coming from the Cismon Valley, the ideal location in the Bassano del Grappa (Cassola area) was chosen for the establishment of the factory. Thus, Pastificio Giglio's first artisan workshop specializing in the production of egg and semolina pasta (tagliatelle, lasagna, fettuccine, etc.) was born, serving a market that covers all of northern Italy. Specially prepared Giglio lasagna sheets do not require pre-boiling and can be baked directly in the oven.
