Duru Başbaşı Bulgur 1 kg. durum buğdaylarından el değmeden üretilmiştir. Başbaşı bulgur; bulgurun taş değirmende kırılmasının sonucu olarak ortaya çıkar. Taş değirmende kırılan bulgur, diskli ve çekiçli değirmenlerde kırılan bulgurdan farklı olarak, bulgurun doğasına uygun olarak üretilmekte, böylece asıl lezzetini ve kokusunu koruyabilmektedir. Bulgur geleneksel kurutma yöntemleri yerine, gelişmiş teknoloji ürünü havalandırma kuleleri içine serilerek kurutulmaktadır. Duru Başbaşı bulgur ambalajı açılmadığı sürece tazeliğini uzun süre korur. Ambalajı açıldığında mümkün olduğunca hava, nem ve kokudan uzak ortamlarda muhafaza edilmesi gerekmektedir. Saklanacağı ortamın sıcaklığı yaklaşık 18 derece olmalıdır.
